Coine Nance

Mrs. Coine Ward Nance age 90, formerly of Canaan Ch. Rd. died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Mountain Vista Health Park. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Canaan United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Tammy Talbert. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Nance was born April 27, 1922 in Davidson County to Jefferson Ward and Hattie Ward. She was an active member of Canaan United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She had worked at Thornton Knitting. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Nance who died on April 8, 1998 and her step-mother Tula Morris Ward. Survivors include, son, Jeff Nance and wife Kathy and daughter Suzanne Gallimore and husband Ronnie all of Denton, grandchildren; Ryan Nance and wife Katie, Chase Nance, Derek Gallimore and wife Janet, and Chad Gallimore and wife Vanessa, great grandchildren; Shelby, Caylee, and Adalyn, step great grandchildren; Tyler and Brent.
