Mrs. Evelyn J. Allred of Candor died Friday, March 1 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 4 at Mt Carmel Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Donnie Davis. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs Allred was born February 3, 1923 in Montgomery County to Herbert Johnson and Ester Baldwin Johnson.She was a retired textile worker and a homemaker.

She is survived by sons, William Allred and Donald Allred both of Candor and Roger Allred of Stanfield; sisters Carolyn Davis of Ether and Patricia Johnson of Rural Hall, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will see friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Sunday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor

Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, PO Box 265, Ellerbe, NC 28338
